City SC Utah is proud to offer an elite pathway through our MLS NEXT Academy, designed for players who are ready to train, compete, and grow in a high-performance environment. MLS NEXT is recognized as one of the highest levels of youth soccer in North America, bringing together top clubs and top talent in a platform focused on long-term player development, meaningful competition, and preparation for the next level.
- High-level competition against top academies across the region and country
- League season running from September through February
- Showcase events in December for top-level exposure (MLS NEXT FEST)
- Qualifiers in March with opportunities to advance
- MLS NEXT CUP – National-level competition against the best academies in the country.
- Player-centered development plans focused on technical, tactical, physical, and mental growth
- College and professional exposure through league play, showcases, and talent identification events

- To help support our club and community, each family is asked to complete 6 hours of volunteer service throughout the season. Families who are unable to fulfill the volunteer requirement may choose the volunteer buyout option for $200 per family.
- Financial Assistance must do 12 hours volunteer time
- Payment plans add $10 processing fee per payment
- $20 late fees added for payment past due (grace period is 15 days)
